Diversity day

On Friday 8th July, we celebrated our Diversity Day. What a fantastic day it was. Throughout the day, students participated in different activities ranging from bhangra dancing, wheelchair basketball, poetry writing, carnival dancing, exploring DNA, building designs inspired by Zaha Hadid and lots more. The school was awash with colour and vibrancy as students made the most of the opportunity to showcase their cultural and traditional dress.

After school over 30 students took part in a cultural fashion and talent show, watched by family members and friends. We were bowled over by the students’ confidence, pride and support of our diverse community. There was singing, poetry, dancing and, of course, the cat walk. We can’t wait to see how this develops further next year.
